Embryo Variation #3

This painting is the last variation on the embryo theme. The embryo theme did not begin with an idea but was discovered in a shape in the first canvas of the series. It was not until after the first composition was completed that the abstract shape grew into something recognizable, at least to the artist. This last variation culminated in more object than abstraction, more idea than shape.
