This is a four track analog tape recording where multiple instruments where recorded in one pass to the same track, bass and drums together, organ and guitar together and so forth. This had a limiting effect for a true stereo mix but eliminated the degradation of sound quality when ping ponging tracks. The recording was done in 1986 in the Humboldt Records rehearsal space with minimal equipment.
