Howard Huge was a project that took place in the mid to late 1980's, immediately after Airhead. It initially was two members of Airhead, Ric Replogle and Robby Jarvis Lamoreux, spending time in the studio. After recording numerous songs on four tract tape featuring the singing and song writing of Ric Replogle, more musicians were added and the band performed live for a few concerts. Some of the four track demos were later recorded on a one inch eight track machine which led to the release of a 45 vinyl record. Howard Huge's stretched head was done long before Photoshop. It was accomplished with a fun house mirror, photo enlarger, razor knife, glue, photo paint and re-photographing the altered image. |
