Snakeye Smirks

"Snakeye Smirks" is one of a group of 29 drawings completed in 1979 and 1980. The drawings in this collection were done while touring in California, Oregon, Washington and Canada with the band "Airhead." When traveling for weeks at a time crammed into two vans, sharing floors for sleeping and eating communally, downtime is at a premium. Needless to say, the ability to lose oneself in something as portable as a book of drawing paper and a pen was never more valuable.
