Earl Thomas came to Humboldt Records in the late 1980's. With a unique, expressive voice, a ton of enthusiasm and a big smile. Thomas began his recording career by recording an eight song demo on Humboldt Record's one inch Ampex 440B and mastered to analog two track tape. Thomas would go on to record many more albums and tour internationally.

This song, "Bo Diddley", was was taken from a cassette copy of the analog two track master. It was written by Ellas McDaniel. Engineered and mixed by Robby Jarvis Lamoreux. Earl Thomas, vocals; Thad Beckman, guitars; Gary Davidson, bass; Paul DeMark, drums.
